Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at Shogetsu Grand Hotel, although a few hiccups dampened the experience. The food was excellent, truly a highlight, and the view from my room was lovely. However, the check-in process was a bit rocky due to language barriers and the temperature in my room was uncomfortable at times, which was a letdown.
My stay at the Shogetsu Grand Hotel was quite nice. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of Jozankei Onsen. While the onsen and food offerings were highlights, the staff's limited English made some parts challenging. If you don't mind the occasional warmth from the hot springs, you'll enjoy a fantastic experience here.
I had an overall wonderful experience at Shogetsu Grand Hotel. the location near Jozankei Onsen was perfect, and the food was truly a highlight. However, I had a few challenges, particularly with the room temperature and some unhelpful staff interactions during check-in. The great dining options and beautiful facilities mostly made up for these issues.
My stay at Shogetsu Grand Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. While the food was fantastic and the location is prime for exploring Jozankei, my check-in experience was pretty rough due to the unwelcoming staff. The room was comfortable but way too hot for my liking, which made it tough to relax. Overall, I enjoyed the facilities and the dining, but the service seriously needs improvement.
My stay at Shogetsu Grand Hotel was marked by charming aspects, especially the dining and location. though I faced some challenges with the service. The food, particularly the kaiseki meals, was a highlight, while the location provided easy access to Jozankei Onsen. Unfortunately, the reception staff were unwelcoming, which dampened the experience a bit.
